Probe Mines Limited Upgraded To Tier 2 Company
The Directors of PROBE MINES LIMITED. (TSXV: PRB) are pleased to announce that the TSX Venture exchange has approved Probe Mines transfer from a Tier 3 to a Tier 2 Company, effective January 5th, 2004. Probe's new stock symbol has changed from YPB to PRB.

This indicates the advancements made by Probe Mines in recent months, as the company prepares to become an aggressive player in the exploration/mining industry. Probe Mines Limited is a publicly traded company, whose goal is to create a successful exploration, development and mining company through technical expertise and efficient management. Probe employs a rigorous process in property selection, accepting only projects that meet our strict technical standards. We believe this strategy will result in the acquisition of high-quality properties, which will provide a maximum return on investment for shareholders. Recently we have acquired the Bristol Township property, situated between the Holmer gold deposit and the Bristol gold discovery of Tom Exploration, in the prolific Timmins mining camp.

Probe is poised to take advantage of the unlimited opportunities in the current minerals
industry and looks forward to an exciting future.
