Patrick Reid, B.A.
Position: Chairman of the Board

Mr. Patrick Reid, former Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for the riding of Rainy River, Ontario and past-President of the Ontario Mining Association (OMA), brings more than twenty years experience as a senior executive in the mining industry to the Company.

As former Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Rainy River, Ontario (1967-1984), Patrick held various senior positions within government and opposition, including Chairman, Public Accounts Committee, Finance and Revenue Critic for the Official Opposition, Member of the Select Committee on Guidelines for the Ombudsman and Advisor - Canadian Comprehensive Auditing Foundation.

Patrick retired from the OMA in 2004, after more than twenty years of service to the association, first as Executive Director (1984-1987) and subsequently as President and CEO (1987-2004). During his time with the OMA, Patrick worked to enhance the profile of the mining industry with the provincial government and promote the industry, most notably through the establishment of "Ontario Mining Week", which continues to raise public awareness of the contribution of mining to the economy and the daily lives of all Ontarians.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba and is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. In 2001, he was awarded the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) fellowship for his outstanding contribution to the Canadian Mining Industry and the CIM. Patrick currently sits of the board of several junior resource companies.

 
David Palmer, Ph.D., P.Geo.
Position: President, CEO, & Director

Prior to joining Probe in 2003, Dr. David Palmer spent fifteen years as an Exploration Geologist and Consultant to the Canadian and international mining industry. He has managed projects and conducted research for major international mining companies in South America, South Africa, India, Greenland and Scandinavia, as well as working extensively throughout Canada. His work has covered a broad range of mineral commodities, including gold, base metals, diamonds, platinum group metals, and copper/nickel deposits.

David holds a B.Sc. (Geology) degree from St. Francis Xavier University, M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Economic Geology) degrees from McGill University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. He has published scientific papers in journals such as Economic Geology and Chemical Geology.

David Palmer, Ph.D., P.Geo. is the Company's Qualified Person as defined under national instrument 43-101.

 
Dennis Peterson, Honours Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Law
Position: Director

Mr. Peterson has 20 years experience as a corporate securities lawyer specializing in corporate finance matters for small cap companies, and served as a director of Probe from 2001 to 2006. Most of Mr. Peterson's practice focuses on junior natural resource companies, and he has extensive experience with all aspects of prospectus financings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions in the junior public markets. Companies he has worked with are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange.

 
John B. Gammon, B.Sc., Ph.D Geology
Position: Director

Dr. John B. Gammon holds a B.Sc. (honours) degree in Geology from the University of Leicester, UK, and a Ph.D in Geology from Durham University, UK. After graduation, John conducted postdoctoral research at the Universities of California and Princeton as the recipient of a Senior Visiting Fulbright Fellowship. For the next twenty years he was employed in successively senior positions in mineral exploration management with among other companies, Falconbridge. John spent seventeen years with the Government of Ontario, Canada, in the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, the first two as Director, Mineral Development and Lands Branch and then as Assistant Deputy Minister, Mines and Mineral Division. He was senior advisor on mining issues to five successive governments. After retiring from government in 2005, John established the "Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation" at Laurentian University. He is also the Founder of the World Mines Ministries Forums, Toronto. He currently sits on the Boards of Gold Summit Mines, Sherwood Copper Corporation, Ascendant Copper Corporation and Strait Gold Corporation. In appreciation for services to mining and Northern Ontario, John was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws from Laurentian University in 2006.
